Red-headed Woodpecker
The Red-headed Woodpecker is the only woodpecker with an all-red head, body and wings boldly patterned in black and white. Red-headed Woodpeckers are most commonly seen in the Midwest, Northeast and South and can be seen in the summer months into Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico. Red-headed Woodpeckers will come to feeders to eat Suet, Nuts, Black Oil Sunflower, Sunflower Hearts and Fruits.
